Stabilization of the waterway bank. Erosion and sediment control practices must be installed, inspected and maintained. Silt fence shall be installed on the stream side of any stockpiles. Work shall be staged such that no more stream bank is disturbed than can be stabilized with seed, mulch and matting at the end of each work day. Disturbed upland areas must be stabilized with seed and mulch within 7 days of reaching final grades. Herbicide should be selectively applied at least two weeks prior to excavation.
