San Diego Unified Port District
Seeking qualifications for on-call, as-needed environmental review consulting services for current planning projects on district tidelands, submerged lands, and uplands. The primary services requested include preparation of environmental review documents and technical studies for both District-sponsored and District tenant-sponsored projects that meet the mandates of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), as amended, the District’s Guidelines for Compliance with CEQA (per BPC Resolution No. 97-191), National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), as amended, and any other applicable laws, regulations, plans, or procedures. Additional services may include peer review of technical studies prepared by others, serving as a tribal consultation liaison, and providing written and verbal translation services for CEQA/NEPA documents (or a portion of the documents) and public meetings in, at a minimum, Spanish and Tagalog.
