Port of San Diego Atlas
The San Diego Bay Sustainable Shorelines Atlas is a data-driven planning tool designed to identify and rank suitable multi-benefit nature-based shoreline strategies across San Diego Bay. It outlines 10 specific nature-based strategies and categorizes the Bay into 14 Shoreline Management Units to assess the applicability of these strategies. The primary goal is to enhance habitat value, improve water quality, sequester carbon, and build resilience against sea level rise, providing a comprehensive framework for future shoreline redevelopment and adaptation efforts.
