Canonsburg-Houston, Pennsylvania, Local Protection Project (LPP) PL84-99 Rehabilitation RFP

Description: The contractor must furnish all management, supervision, labor, heavy equipment, materials, water control, and environmental controls necessary to execute the repairs. Repair Reach Limits: Repair work is concentrated along the right bank of Chartiers Creek between approximate stations STA 164+00 and STA 166+50. Site Access & Clearing: Access to the creek channel will be achieved from the left bank access ramp near STA 163+00. The ramp requires clearing of dense brush and vegetation in strict accordance with PennDOT Publication 408, Section 201. Geotextile Underlayment: Existing geotextiles within the damage limits are assumed damaged and must be excavated and replaced. The contractor must furnish and place Class 4, Type A non-woven geotextile fabric conforming to PennDOT 408 Section 735. Panels must be placed over prepared, compacted subgrade with a minimum 18-inch overlap, placing upstream panels over downstream panels. See outside link.
