Description: The State of California, through the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation and the Department of General Services, is seeking a qualified operator to lease and run a full-service cafeteria at the Sierra Conservation Center in Jamestown. The operator must provide staffing, menu development, daily food service, regulatory compliance, insurance, security clearances, and all other operating costs for approximately 1,068 employees under a five-year lease. This is an active Request for Proposal rather than a grant program, with bidding opened July 27, 2026, and scheduled to close August 7, 2026.
