Brooks Co. Jail shower Stall Replacement Project

Description: As of 2026-08-22, Brooks County Board of Commissioners is soliciting bids for a construction project, not a grant program, although the project is funded by a local SPLOST grant. The work consists of removing and replacing 40 shower stalls in the upstairs and downstairs areas of the Brooks County Jail, including all required labor, materials, equipment, and associated measures. The contract will be awarded to one contractor, with substantial completion required within 180 consecutive calendar days and close-out within 194 days; Georgia licensing, bid and performance/payment bonds, and E-Verify compliance are required.
