Bridge 15 Rehabilitation, 36th Street over the Big Papio Creek *REBID*

Description: Expansion Joint Replacement/Improvement; Deck Edge Shotcrete Repair; Approach Roadway Improvement; Traffic Control; The work in the plans consists of (1) the replacement of the expansion joints at the end of the bridge (including the elimination of an existing backwall cold joint), (2) the removal and replacement of the approach and paving sections at the end of the bridge and removal and replacement of pavement and median to limits shown to correct the sagging vertical profile, (3) the repair of the bottom sides of the outer concrete bridge deck edges prior to the nesting season (April 1, 2026), and (4) the removal and replacement of damaged guardrail, utility coordination, and temporary traffic control.
