Boonton Water Treatment Plant Incoming Electric System Rehabilitation Project RFP

Description: Water Treatment Plant Electric Substation and Distribution System. Work includes replacing and upgrading the outdoor substation with a new concrete foundation and canopy, installing a new transformer, and replacing the existing standby generator with two (2) new standby generators, each with new enclosures and concrete foundations. Additional improvements include upgrades to the incoming electric service, distribution equipment, raw water pump motors, and variable speed drives. The project also includes installation of a new emergency switchboard, automatic transfer switch, panel board, a new fuel filtration system, and rehabilitation of the existing above-ground fuel storage tanks. In addition, the project includes constructing a building expansion to provide a new electrical room connected to the existing Raw Water Pump Station to house the new equipment. This will involve the installation of helical piles, a concrete foundation, and all associated work and equipment to complete the construction of a new electrical building expansion in accordance with the Contract Documents.
