Bobtail Wall Excavation RFP

Description: The City of Black Hawk is soliciting a contractor to excavate a hillside along Gregory Street in preparation for a future retaining wall. The work includes approximately 4,000 cubic yards of unclassified excavation, removal and off-site disposal of vegetation and an existing timber crib wall, rock scaling, hauling, traffic control, mobilization, and surveying. Conventional excavation methods are required, while hydraulic hammers, specialized teeth, and explosives are prohibited.
