Description: This project consists of comprehensive upgrades and expansion of the Bluff Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant, including new flow metering and diversion structures, headworks and treatment process improvements, construction of new grit removal, blower, digester, and chemical feed facilities, and rehabilitation of existing pumping, filtration, and solids handling systems. The work also includes installation of new process equipment, piping, instrumentation, and appurtenances to improve treatment capacity, operational reliability, and regulatory compliance.

This project will develop individual campsites at the existing shirley creek campground. Work includes staking camping spurs from plans, stripping turf, earthwork, excavating campsite spurs and social areas to sub-grade, install and compact aggregate base course, install and compact aggregate surface course, grading to ensure proper drainage around spurs and social areas, and restoring areas disturbed by construction operations with topsoil, seed and mulch. Stripped turf and excess earthen materials are to be disposed of, by the contractor, to on-site locations within the campground which will be designated by the cor.

Demolition of the unused Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) building, construction of new brick and mortar coagulant facility building on the former DAF building site to house coagulant metering pumps, lime slurry metering pumps, and associated electrical equipment.
