Biosolids Disposal Project 2027-29

Description: This is a two-year service contract to haul and dispose of dewatered sludge from the Elk River Waste Water Treatment Plant. The City will load the sludge from covered storage into trucks, and the contractor must haul it to an appropriate disposal location. The bid distinguishes dry and wet disposal seasons to enable greater biosolids production during the dry season, when land application is less costly for the City.
