Work consists of renovate the housing administration space on the first floor into a new student mailroom. The new mailroom will include approximately 550 secured, self-service locker compartments for delivering and collecting packages for automated student pick-up. The mailroom will also include a back-of-house area for staff to sort and distribute packages to their assigned locker compartments. All interior walls, ceilings, casework, light fixtures, mechanical diffusers, carpet, and other finishes are to be removed, unless noted otherwise.

Montgomery County, Maryland is seeking proposals for Municipal Solid Waste Sorting and Recovery services (RFP #1195755) to support the County's zero waste, climate, and circular economy goals by minimizing the quantity of municipal solid waste requiring disposal. The County is considering additional technologies and processes that can sort MSW to extract recyclable materials and organics for recovery through recycling and diversion, while residual material not recovered will be properly disposed under a separate contract.
