Thermogravimetry-Differential Scanning Calorim - (Request for Quote)
Mettler Toledo Laboratory Thermal Gravimetric Analyzer (TGA) - Qty 1: The TGA system must have a differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) function. TGA must include an option for an automatic gas accessory controlled by the software to regulate both the flow and switching of up to three purge gases during an experiment. The TGA system must have a temperature range from room temperature to 1100 °C. TGA must include two thermocouples in direct contact with the sample crucible to simultaneously measure heat flow (DSC) information about the sample and mass change. The TGA system must have a heating rate of 0.02 °C/min, 150 °C/min, or 250 °C/min, with a temperature resolution of 0.0001 °C. The TGA system must have a cooling rate of 0.02 °C/min or 50 °C/min. TGA must have a true parallel guided internal balance with a minimum sample capacity of 5000 mg and a continuous resolution of 1.0 microgram without range switching. The TGA system should have large mass-loss features with a sample capacity of more than 1 g, high‑precision mass sensitivity at the 1 g scale, and simultaneous differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) on the same sample load. The balance must have internal calibration ring weights to allow user calibration without external weights. The TGA system should be able to handle crucible sizes ranging from 20-150uL standard. The TGA should allow for future modification to accommodate crucibles up to 900uL. The TGA software must be comparable between multiple TGA instruments installed at the Pittsburgh site.
