Installation of a new GAC building for PFAS treatment at the Village's Well 6 facility.
Description: The work includes, but is not limited to, yard piping, replacement of the well pump and variable frequency drive (VFD), PFAS treatment vessel trains (Veolia pre-procured), control valves, flow meters, a PFAS treatment building, HVAC systems, a tempered water safety eyewash system, finished water sodium hypochlorite injection, replacement backup electrical generator (Generator Provided by VWID), electrical and control panels, all associated fittings and appurtenances, and system startup and commissioning.

The proposed work consists of: the construction of a new pfas treatment facility as an addition to the existing well no. 17 & 19 station including but not limited to the following: construction of the new building addition and associated appurtenances, furnishing and installing pfas treatment vessels, interior process piping, new sequestrant system, new prefabricated wet well and valve vault, as well as installing a new forcemain, furnishing and installing new electrical equipment, panels, conduit and wiring, and construction of new sidewalk.

The Orange County Water District (OCWD) is soliciting sealed bids for the construction of the City of Fullerton's Well 10 PFAS Water Treatment Plant Project on behalf of the City of Fullerton, pursuant to a 2020 PFAS Treatment Facilities and Program Agreement. The project includes the installation of approximately 3,300 feet of 12-inch water pipeline to connect Sunclipse Well 10 to the new PFAS treatment plant, with a total project cost of approximately $8.6 million. Sealed bids are due by August 18, 2026.
