Description: For the remediation, preparation, and painting services to address active microbial growth within 22 designated barracks rooms and associated bathrooms. The contractor shall provide all labor, supplies and equipment needed to complete this project. The ctr shall completely eradicate all active microbial growth in 22 specified rooms and adjacent bathrooms. The ctr shall utilize only epa-registered disinfectants, botanical biocides, or approved antimicrobial solutions suited for porous and non-porous surfaces. The ctr shall prepare, prime, and paint approximately 18,562 sf of barracks room surfaces and 3,840 sf of bathroom surfaces to exact technical specifications. The ctr shall prepare damaged surfaces by removing failed paint, treating underlying substrates, and applying a heavy-duty, mold-and-mildew-resistant sealing primer to prevent organic growth from bleeding through new paint.
