Barberry Management - Letchworth State Park RFP
The New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation is seeking quotes for herbicide treatments to control invasive Asiatic barberry in a designated 10-acre area of Bishop Woods at Letchworth State Park, with about seven acres having 40–70% infestation cover. Work includes cut-stump treatment by a certified applicator using triclopyr and/or glyphosate under specified conditions from October 1 through December 31, 2026, plus environmental best practices, application records, and permits. Bidders must be NYSDEC Certified Commercial Pesticide Applicators, document at least three similar projects, and may not subcontract; a pre-bid site meeting is noted as required.
