Description: The objectives of this project are to increase forest resiliency and resistance to bark beetle epidemic, increase age class diversity, promote recovery of forest vegetation, reduce the risk of high severity wildfires, and provide wood products for both commercial and non-commercial uses by accomplishing the following: a) Cut and remove ponderosa pine live saw timber 9.0” DBH – 21.9” DBH. b) Cut, skid, and deck ponderosa pine dead sawtimber and live/dead non-sawtimber. 5.0” DBH – 21.9” DBH (unit dependent). c) Cut and pile dead ponderosa pine dead sawtimber and live/dead non-sawtimber. 5.0” DBH – 21.9” DBH (unit dependent). d) Decommission user created forest roads.
