Description: The USDA Forest Service's Stewardship Contracting Branch is soliciting a call order under the R2 Rocky Mountain Restoration Project (RMRP) Stewardship BPA for the San Juan National Forest in Colorado. The procurement is restricted to approved companies eligible for call orders under that BPA and may be awarded to one vendor as a BPA Call Order against a previously solicited Government Point of Entry BPA. The SAM.gov notice states that the government will not provide feedback or evaluations to companies that are not eligible for awards under the R2 RMRP Stewardship BPA.

The objectives of this project are to address concerns about forest health and fuel loading, and to improve road condition and decrease erosion associated with road infrastructure by accomplishing the following: Thinning and group selection cuts and timber removal in mixed conifer stands Reconditioning aggregate and native roadways and performing associated maintenance and upgrades to drainage structures and closure gates Rerouting a small segment of system road Regrading and surfacing the Coal Creek trail parking area.
