The City and County of San Francisco issued an RFQ to create a prequalified pool of vendors providing products, software, and services powered by emerging technologies (including AI) to support short-term experiments and pilots for city departments. The pool is intended to streamline procurement for pilot projects, require vendors to support sandbox testing and produce AI System Cards for transparency, and requires proposers to show prior deployments and meet technical and contractual requirements. The pool is valid from April 24, 2026 through December 25, 2027 and accepts proposals on a rolling basis.
