Automated Weather Observing System (AWOS III-PT) – Ennis Municipal Airport

Description: The City of Ennis is soliciting sealed bids under Project ID 26-101-13 for a complete Automated Weather Observing System (AWOS III-PT) at Ennis Municipal Airport (F41). The work includes furnishing and installing the AWOS unit, tower, sensors, communications, grounding and lightning protection, electrical and data connections, calibration, testing, FAA and National Weather Service integration, training, and documentation in accordance with FAA and TxDOT requirements. This is an Invitation For Bid for goods and services, not a grant program, although eligible project costs may be reimbursed to the City through a TxDOT State-Assisted Airport Development Grant; bids are due September 23, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. Central Time.
