Provide professional services for the replacement and upgrade of the theater's audio mixing console and associated sound system components. Services include evaluating existing equipment, furnishing and installing the new audio console and related hardware, integrating the upgraded system with existing infrastructure, configuring and testing all equipment, and providing system commissioning to ensure proper operation. Work also includes operator orientation/training, removal and disposal of obsolete equipment, and coordination with theater staff to minimize disruptions to facility operations.

The Contractor shall replace existing analog audio infrastructure and its associated devices with a modern IP based solution that utilizes Dante as the primary audio transport protocol over standard ethernet. The Contractor shall provide installation, commissioning, documentation, training, and warranty for the proposed solution. Site Survey & System Design: A. Site Survey: The Contractor shall coordinate with the COR to schedule and attend a site visit with Library staff and the Library of Congress’ Facilities Services Division to review the Coolidge Theater’s existing analog audio infrastructure – to include all wall boxes, floor boxes, cable paths, conduit, equipment racks, patch bays, amplifiers, mixers, speakers. During the site visit, the Contractor shall measure approximate distances for cable runs. Electrical power draw and heat load requirements shall also be discussed with the Facilities Services Division. See attached file.
