Auctioneer Services RFP

Description: The City of Montgomery is seeking a qualified auctioneer to sell city-owned vehicles and heavy equipment through public auctions. The contractor must advertise the sales, conduct live auctions with internet bidding, collect taxes and payments, transfer vehicle titles, provide auction personnel and a portable registration/checkout office, and manage buyer pickup and accounting. The proposed term is one year with options for four additional years, and bidders must meet Alabama licensing, experience, title-agent, insurance, financial, social-media, and bonding requirements.
