Asphalt Parking Lot Sealcoating and Striping - (Request for Quotation)

Description: The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to complete the following tasks: Phase 1: Surface Preparation Debris Removal: Power-blow and sweep the entire 9,000 sq. ft. surface to remove dirt, gravel, and oil. Oil Spot Treatment: Apply a specialized chemical primer to oil, grease, and gas stains to ensure sealcoat adhesion. Vegetation Clearing: Remove all weeds and grass growing in asphalt cracks or edges. Phase 2: Crack Sealing Routing: Clean out debris from cracks measuring 1/4" or wider. Filling: Apply commercial-grade, hot-pour rubberized crack sealant to prepared cracks. Phase 3: Sealcoat Application. Material: Use premium, commercial-grade asphalt emulsion sealer mixed with silica sand for slip resistance. Application: Apply two (2) uniform coats of sealer. Method: Apply the first coat via squeegee for deep penetration and the second coat via spray for a smooth finish. Phase 4: Line Striping and Layout Layout: Restripe the parking lot exactly to the original layout. Standard Spaces: Paint twenty-one (21) standard-sized parking spaces using high-durability, DOT-approved traffic paint (White or Yellow). Handicapped Space: Paint one (1) designated accessible parking space including standard white/yellow boundary lines, a blue background box, and the international symbol of accessibility (wheelchair icon).
