Arab Alleyway Improvements
Work includes demolition of pavement in the alley. The existing pavement in the alley shall be demolished as shown on the plans, taking care to avoid damage to existing utilities to remain. The contractor shall coordinate with utility companies for installation of a new water line, meters, storm drainage, sanitary sewer service cleanouts, and relocation of the natural gas line (by gas company). The contractor shall install pavement, hardscape, steps, and other improvements shown on the plans, and shall coordinate with the city for installation of new wrought iron handrails around steps. Contractor shall also install new storm drainage, topsoil, and grassing as shown on the plans.
