Complete a full replacement of the backup generator serving portions. This replacement shall include the 277/480V 30 kW generator, the fuel tank and fuel pump serving the generator, and the automatic transfer switch (ATS). The Town of Amherst is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to remove the existing emergency backup generator at the Amherst Fire Station and supply, install, test, and commission a new automatic standby generator system. The system must support the entire fire station during utility power interruptions and include the required labour, materials, engineering, permits, equipment, testing, training, documentation, warranty, and regulatory approvals.
