Description: NOTICE TO VENDORS PROJECT: ROAD MATERIALS OPENING BID DATE: Monday, November 23, 2026 Sealed Bids for the above referenced project will be received until 4:30 p.m. Thursday, November 19, 2026 by the Kerr County Clerk, Kerr County Court House, 700 Main Street, Kerrville, Texas 78028. All bids must be on the Unit Price Bid Form. Bids received after this time will not be accepted. Bids will be opened publicly on Monday, November 23, 2026, in Commissioners' Court. Bids will be awarded publicly on Monday, December 14, 2026, in Commissioners' Court. Bid documents may be obtained from Kerr County Road & Bridge Department, 3766 SH 27, Kerrville, Texas 78028, telephone 1-830-257-2993, by email at kcroads@rb.kerrcountytx.gov, or on the Kerr County web site. Bidders shall notate the following information on the outside of the sealed envelope: ROAD MATERIALS AND Thursday, November 19, 2026 at 4:30 p.m. AND "Name and address of Contractor" PLEASE SUBMIT THREE (3) COPIES: YOUR PROPOSAL - ONE ORIGINAL AND TWO (2) COPIES CERTIFIED FORM 1295, CERTIFICATE OF INTERESTED PARTIES, CONFLICT OF INTEREST QUESTIONNAIRE ONE ORIGINAL AND TWO (2) COPIES Kerr County is an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer. Paving Aggregates Specifications: Paving aggregates, notated as State Grade, shall conform to the requirements in 2024 Texas Department of Transportation Standard Specifications, Item 302 Aggregates for Surface Treatments, 302.2A, Type E, Gradation Table 2. Paving rock should be washed/cleaned, hard, rock aggregate (excluding Limestone Rock Asphalt "LRA"). Bids are to be in cost (in dollars) per ton. 2. Emulsion Oils Specifications: Emulsion oils shall conform to the requirements in 2024 Texas Department of Transportation Standard Specifications, Item 300, Asphalt, Oils and Emulsions, CRS-2, CRS-2P, AEP, CSS-1H and MS-2. Bids are to be in cost (in dollars) per gallon. 3. Corrugated Metal Pipe Specifications: Culvert pipe shall conform to the requirements in 2024 Texas Department of Transportation Standard Specifications, Item 460, unless otherwise noted herein. Bids are to be in cost (dollars) per linear foot, unless otherwise notated. 4. Base Material Specifications: Base material shall conform to the requirements in 2024 Texas Department of Transportation Standard Specifications, Item 247, Flexible Base, 2.1.2.1, Type A. Bids are to be in cost (in dollars) per cubic ton. 5. Hot Mix-Cold Laid Asphaltic Concrete Pavement Specifications: Hot Mix-Cold Laid Asphaltic Concrete Pavement material shall conform to the requirements in 2024 Texas Department of Transportation Standard Specifications, Item 334. Bids are to be in cost (in dollars) per ton. Additional solicitation details and the full bid form (unit prices, delivery areas, delivery requirements, lab result requirements, and certifications) are included in the bid packet. Bid prices are to be in effect January 1, 2027 through December 31, 2027. Bidders must provide most recent lab results where requested and supply samples upon request.
