The State of New Jersey is seeking quotes for professional engineering and science services supporting NJDEP site-remediation work throughout New Jersey. Qualified firms would perform work when NJDEP cannot do it itself and has not contracted for it as part of a larger project. Quotes are submitted through NJSTART, and the solicitation includes partial small-business and disabled-veteran set-asides.

Professional engineering and science services from qualified firms to perform a variety of tasks related to Contaminated Site Remediation and Redevelopment (CSRR) efforts throughout New Jersey when NJDEP cannot do the work itself and has not otherwise contracted for these services as part of a larger project. Professional services required of the Contractor may include record searches, file reviews, Preliminary Assessments, Site Investigations, Remedial Investigations (RI), fieldwork sampling/testing, alternative evaluations, engineering evaluations, engineering designs, cost evaluations, remedial system monitoring/maintenance/optimization, and ecological and/or human health evaluations and assessments. In certain cases, the Contractor may be engaged to perform only portions of the entire site Remediation process, i.e. specific task, subtasks, or phases of the Remediation efforts.
