Ambulance Billing Services

Town of North Branford seeks a vendor to provide full ambulance billing services for the North Branford Fire Department, handling the full billing lifecycle (invoice prep, insurer submission and follow-up, patient invoicing, deposits), weekly/monthly/quarterly reporting, training, and transfer of records. Vendor must accept ESO electronic patient care reports, obtain Connecticut EMS billing permits in the department’s name, maintain a $50,000 fidelity bond and required insurance, provide 5-year municipal references with actual collection rates, and support bundle-billing and fire-rescue recovery billing. Estimated volume: 1,250–1,750 calls/year (900–1,000 billable). Contract awarded through June 30, 2032 with renewal options.
