Water Well Inspection and Maintenance
Work generally consists of removing, inspecting and repairing or replacing the well pump and motor, piping and appurtenances.
Description: The work includes inspection and rehabilitation of Well #1 at their wellfield located approximately one mile west of the City. The inspection shall include televising and determining of treatment needed for the well screen. We are asking for pricing on sonar-jet cleaning, inhibited acid wash, and chlorination; but, actual determination of the needed treatment shall be based upon the findings of the televising. The pumps shall be pulled and inspected for possible repairs.

The City of Delray Beach, Florida, through its Utilities Department/Maintenance Division, is soliciting bids (ITB2026-037) from qualified firms to provide Well Repair, Maintenance, and Rehabilitation Services on an as-needed basis. The scope covers production wells, monitor wells, pumps, and motors rehabilitation, including services such as reverse/mud rotary drilling, well service rigs, demolition, certified welding, well pump technician work, chlorine treatment, specific capacity testing, BART tests, wire-to-water pump efficiency tests, vibration infrared analysis, sand testing, silt density index testing, and well development/redevelopment with 600-750 CFM air compressors, all in compliance with FDEP regulations. Pricing is for comparison purposes and the City may add goods or services during the agreement term.
