Description: Work of the project includes water recovery and waste process improvements at the water treatment plant. The improvements include, but are not limited to, correcting mechanical deficiencies at the forty-foot-diameter water recovery basin (water saver); replacing the existing scraper rake with a sludge thickener; and installing progressive cavity pumps, submersible pumps, rapid-mix blowers, air piping, air valves, and related appurtenances to improve the reliability of the WTP.
