Advance Notification – RFQ #2026-11: Balzac Interchange

Description: Alberta Transportation and Economic Corridors gives advance notice of an RFQ planned for the end of October 2026 for construction services to upgrade the Highway 566/Highway 2 interchange in Balzac. Work includes Highway 566 realignment and twinning, intersection and ramp upgrades, highway and railway grade-separation structures, and watercourse realignments and culvert replacements. A qualifications-based selection process will shortlist firms for a subsequent tender, with the project delivered through Design-Bid-Build.
