6-Inch Mims Asbestos Cement Water Main Pipe Abandonment
Project consists of the abandonment of approx. 2,300 LF of existing 6" Asbestos Cement (A/C) water main. The work includes locating and identifying the existing water main; installing insertion valves and thrust collars; testing and relocating existing water services; installing grout injection points; grouting and abandoning the existing A/C water main; disconnecting the main from the potable water distribution system; and restoring all affected areas. The project also includes all required testing, as-built documentation, maintenance of traffic, permits, and incidental work necessary to complete the project.
