This project provides pedestrian crossing improvements within the City of Anacortes along Q Avenue at 13th Street, 12th Street at the Safeway entrance and at 11th Street. Work includes installing temporary erosion control measures; removing certain existing features; clearing and grubbing of new sidewalk areas; sawcutting and removing concrete curbs, gutters, pedestrian ramps, and sidewalks, as well as asphalt pavement, and adjusting utilities, improving pedestrian crossings at 13th Street and Q Avenue, 12th Street and Q Avenue at the entrance to Safeway, and at 11th Street and Q Avenue, installing cement concrete curbs, gutters, sidewalks, and ADA facilities; paving with HMA; installing pavement markings, and permanent signing; restoring disturbed areas; roadside cleanup; traffic control; construction and licensed surveying; and other work, all in accordance with the attached contract plans, contract provisions, and the Standard Specifications. The project area is approx. 950 FT long.
