AvailableSeeking approved qualified vendors for the production of the unfinished Advanced Combat Helmet (ACH) ballistic bolt and ACH/Enhanced Combat Helmet (ECH) nut. The vendors must be qualified by Product Manager Soldier Protective Equipment (PM SPE) in order to provide ACH ballistic bolts and ACH/ECH nuts to support this requirement. The ballistic hardware must be machined in accordance with the latest revision technical data packages (TDP) 139-00-0001U Screw, 10-32 Flat Head Rear, Unfinished - Revision “J” and 139-00-0002U Nut, 10-32 Front Revision “J”. All ballistic hardware shall be made with the permitted material, meet the Rockwell hardness, and meet the specified tolerances as called out in the notes of the TDP. All hardware must be delivered unfinished but protected from rust and decay. See attached file.
