2027 Pedestrian Crossing Improvements

Description: The City of Des Moines is soliciting bids for pedestrian-crossing upgrades at ten identified sites. The work includes pedestrian hybrid beacon and pedestrian signals, school-zone flashing assemblies, speed-feedback equipment, curb, gutter and sidewalk construction, and pavement markings. The project must follow the 2026 SUDAS specifications and city contract documents, with construction expected to be completed within about 10 months after award.
