2027 Dare County Beach Renourishment Project

Description: Several scenarios are being considered for each of the 4 Towns. The total volume placed for the collective 4-Town project may range between 2.3 M CY and 3.1 M CY. Current ranges for each of the four Towns are: Town of Duck - 1.6 miles of beach - 623,700 CY to 830,600 CY. Town of Southern Shores - 4.1 miles - 375,000 CY to 466,800 CY. Town of Kitty Hawk - 4.0 miles - 721,600 CY to 1,010,200 CY. Town of Kill Devil Hills - 2.7 miles - 636,200 CY to 859,300 CY.
