Description: The University of Waterloo issued this formal RFP on 2026/08/31 09:26:16 AM EDT to conduct a full executive search for its next Associate Vice-President, Indigenous Relations. The successful candidate must be First Nations, Métis or Inuit with lived experience and a demonstrated understanding of Indigenous histories, cultures, communities and ways of knowing, and the supplier's Executive Search Lead must self-identify as First Nations, Métis or Inuit and have experience conducting senior Indigenous leadership executive searches. Reporting to the Vice-President, Academic and Provost, the AVP IR will lead the Office of Indigenous Relations and advance the University's commitments to reconciliation, Indigenization, decolonization, systemic institutional change and relationships with Indigenous Peoples and communities.
