2026 MAY STREET PAVING PROJECT

Description: The City of Hood River, Oregon is soliciting sealed bids from qualified contractors for the 2026 May Street Paving Project (Project #734). The work consists of grinding out approximately 2 inches of existing asphalt across roughly 24 feet of width over about 1,700 linear feet (~40,800 sq ft) on May Street between Rand Road and Young Lane, then repaving with a half-inch aggregate dense ACP surface asphalt and restriping the roadway including a yellow skip centerline, white fog lines, and a bike lane stripe. Bids are due by 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 6, 2026, and must be submitted electronically through QuestCDN (eBid doc #10273153); a mandatory pre-bid meeting was held at the intersection of 30th Street and May St on July 30, 2026.
