641 Replace Lighting - (Request for Quotation)
1. Site Mobilization & Safety Prep: Establish a secure work zone within Building 641, Room 116. Prepare temporary dust containment, floor coverings, and active Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO) procedures at panelboard Panel LP-B. 2. Demolition & Hazardous Waste Mitigation: De-energize, safely uninstall, containerize, and legally dispose of 24 legacy fluorescent T8/T12 fixtures and 30 legacy CAN light fixtures/trims, including lamps and ballasts, in strict compliance with EPA regulations for mercury and PCB disposal. 3. Fixture Procurement & Installation: Supply and mount 24 commercial-grade, dimmable LED troffers directly into the existing suspended T-bar ceiling grid. Supply and install 30 commercial-grade LED recessed downlight retrofit kits into existing CAN light housings. 4. Hardwired Dimming Control Integration: Route dedicated, low-voltage (0-10VDC) Class 2 control wiring from all 54 fixtures to a centralized master lighting control cabinet. Install four (4) digital remote-control stations (one at each entrance) hardwired to the master station for synchronized multi-location control. See attached file.
