2026-41 Demolition of Condemned Church Building

Description: The City of Charleston is soliciting bids from qualified contractors to demolish the condemned church building at 915 Main St, Charleston, WV 25302. The work includes asbestos abatement, demolition, and site restoration through leveling, compaction, and seeding, and is limited to this building. The project is funded in whole or in part by a U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Community Development Block Grant and is subject to Davis-Bacon prevailing-wage requirements and other applicable federal requirements.
