2026-2027 MASON INLET MAINTENANCE PROJECT RFP

Description: New Hanover County is accepting sealed bids for the 2026-2027 Mason Inlet Maintenance Project, an Invitation to Bid for hydraulic dredging and related beach work. The base bid covers approximately 376,000 cubic yards of shoaled material from Mason Inlet, Mason Creek, and the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway, with placement on the southern beachfront of Figure “8” Island; an additional 75,300 cubic yards is an optional bid item.
