2025 NJDOT Safe Streets To Transit
Work includes approx 1 LS clearing site; 848 SY 3" HMA milling; 111 SY 4" concrete sidewalk; 47 CY unclassified excavation; 368 LF 24" traffic marking lines.
Description: Base Bid will consist of milling, resurfacing, ADA ramp construction and associated sidewalk transitions to ADA Ramps and curb, select sidewalk reconstruction, select full-depth roadway repair, installation of pavement striping, resetting of all sanitary structures and storm drainage structures, installation of a new traffic signal, at the intersection. The scope of work within the Alternate Bid 1 will consist of roadway restriping, and installation of regulatory warning signs, polymer cement bus-stop surfacing, and installation of rectangular rapid flashing beacon signs on the intersection of Street and within the City. Alternate Bid 2 will consist of milling, resurfacing, ADA ramp construction and associated sidewalk transitions to ADA Ramps and curb, installation of pavement striping, resetting of all sanitary structures and storm drainage structures, and installation of rectangular rapid flashing beacon signs on the intersection.

The City of Henderson is seeking qualified individuals and organizations through a personal services contract to evaluate and improve pedestrian access within the city limits. The project, identified as the Henderson / SS4A Pedestrian Access Study, is federally funded and has an approximate lump-sum fee of $680,000. Proposals must be submitted to the City of Henderson Finance Department by the stated closing deadline.
