2022-016 Construct Joyce Museum LIBRARIES Abbott

Description: The State University of New York (SUNY) at Buffalo is seeking proposals from firms to provide full Construction Manager (CM) services for Project 2022-016 Joyce Exhibit at Abbott Library on the University at Buffalo South Campus. This project will create new exhibits and museum support spaces dedicated to the James Joyce Collection, involving renovation of approximately 12,500 square feet of the first floor of Abbott Hall. The work includes restrooms, curator office and workspace, welcome desk, storage, and museum-grade mechanical, lighting, and fire-protection systems, with construction occurring while the building remains occupied.
