1798 - Hanscom AFB Fire Suppression System Inspections - (Request for Quote)

Description: Inspection, testing, and maintenance (itm) tasks shall be performed by craftsperson s trained or qualified in the maintenance and repair of the specific fire protection system or subsystem and shall be currently certified by the commonwealth of massachusetts. The contractor shall provide valid/current certificate(s) to include a massachusetts suppression certificate of competency to the contracting officer s representative (cor) (66 abg/ceoes) within five (5) business days after the date the contract is awarded. Backflow inspections shall be performed by a massachusetts certified backflow prevention device tester, and the certification shall be current. Backflow inspections are necessary as they prevent water from reversing through the system and going back into a potable water supply. The contractor shall provide valid/current certificate(s) to the cor (66 abg/ceoes) within five (5) business days after the date the contract is awarded. See attached file.
