On-Call Pipe and Culvert Lining \& Manhole Rehabilitation
The Town of North Reading will receive sealed bids for pipeline and manhole rehabilitation and related pipeline cleaning and CCTV inspection. The Contract period will begin around January 1, 2027 and terminate around December 31, 2027 with the Town of North Reading reserving the sole right to renew the contracts for two additional years, in one-year increments. Bids shall be submitted to the North Reading Department of Public Works located at North Reading Town Hall, 235 North Street, North Reading, MA 01864 and shall be clearly marked "2026-05E On-Call Pipe and Culvert Lining and Manhole Rehabilitation". Bids will be received until Thursday, November 24, 2026 at 11:00 AM at which time they will be publicly opened and read. All bids must be submitted in the format provided in the bid package. Prevailing Wage Laws shall apply to this bid. Successful bidder must furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond both in the amount of 100% of the total amount of the Contract Price (Year 1 Extended Total Bid). A bid deposit in the amount of 5% of the total amount of the (Year 1 Extended Total Bid) shall be furnished with the bid in the form of cash, certified check, treasurer's or cashier's check issued by a responsible bank or trust company, or in a form of a bid bond executed by a surety company authorized to do business in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, made payable to the Town of North Reading.
