Wildlife Regulatory Meeting

The Wildlife Regulatory Meeting is a formal public meeting of the Federal Subsistence Board. Its primary purpose is to engage in regulatory rulemaking related to wildlife, including the establishment or modification of hunting and trapping seasons, harvest limits, methods, means, and customary and traditional use determinations for subsistence activities in Alaska. The meeting involves presentations of analyses, summaries of public comments, testimony from Tribal/Native Organizations and Advisory Groups, recommendations from Regional Advisory Councils and the Alaska Department of Fish and Game, and deliberations by Board members leading to official actions.
