About this conference
This full-day event, jointly hosted by the National Association of State Energy Officials (NASEO) and the Colorado Energy Office (CEO), will bring together staff from State Energy Offices, Departments of Transportation, and associated agencies throughout the Intermountain West with key freight sector representatives, industry experts, shippers, carriers, utilities, manufacturers, charging providers, and leading research institutions to support enhanced regional coordination on electric freight infrastructure planning, standards, and corridor development, amongst other key regional objectives. Building on the success of the Regional Electric Vehicle Plan for the West (REV West) Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), the Symposium will include interactive discussions on the latest trends, technologies, policies, and investments driving electric freight forward. By working together to advance public-private freight partnerships, we aim to spur American innovation, boost economic development, strengthen energy security, streamline industry investments, support public health, and reduce costs for all Americans. The event also includes an optional visit to NLR's Flatirons Campus to tour the in-process commissioning of a new state-of-the-art, megawatt-scale charging R&D testbed.
