Defense Industrial Sustainment for Combat Systems Summit

The Defense Industrial Sustainment for Combat Systems (DISC) Summit aims to sustain and expand the supply chain and service providers within the defense aerospace, ground vehicle, maritime, and armaments markets. The summit recognizes that these markets represent significant business opportunities, but OEMs, subcontractors, service providers, and suppliers are often siloed. Future sustainment and supply chain resilience necessitate breaking these silos, engaging new businesses, and fostering dialogue across the defense industrial and R&D ecosystem. Key goals include engaging current and prospective suppliers and service providers to leverage prime and subcontracting opportunities with the Department of Defense and other federal agencies, informing the industrial/academia R&D ecosystem about future defense technology imperatives, and establishing direct dialogue on critical issues such as supply chain, maintenance/repair/overhaul (MRO), workforce, inflation, and barriers to entry. Participants are expected to include current and prospective OEMs, prime contractors, suppliers, and service providers in defense aerospace, ground vehicle, maritime, and armaments markets, industry and academia involved in R&D and new product development for these systems, and Federal and Defense agencies engaged in requirements generation, acquisition, sustainment, and R&D.
