North Carolina Defense Technology Transition Office (DEFTECH)

The Offices of US Senator Thom Tillis and US Senator Ted Budd and the North Carolina Military Business Center are pleased to announce the Southeast Region Federal Construction, Infrastructure & Environmental Summit. This premier event brings together over 800 representatives from various federal agencies, military installations (including the Corps of Engineers, Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command, Fort Bragg/Liberty, Marine Corps Installations East, Seymour Johnson AFB, US Coast Guard, Department of Veterans Affairs, and General Services Administration), alongside general and specialty contractors, design firms, and construction suppliers from across the Southeast United States. The Summit focuses on "Program and Requirements Dialogues" addressing future federal projects, acquisition strategies, contractor experiences, teaming, and supplier opportunities in federal construction, environmental engineering and remediation, energy, and horizontal infrastructure. It also covers critical topics such as supplier and service contract opportunities, small business programs, budget impacts, contracting processes, and legal issues for federal contractors. Attendees can expect extensive networking opportunities, including a trade show with over 100 exhibitors, a golf event, and social events, enabling businesses to market their services and products.
