About this conference

We are in the early stages of planning for the 2026 Statewide Elders & Youth Conference. More information, including a call for presenters, registration details, and conference updates, will be shared soon. The Annual Statewide Elders & Youth Conference is hosted by FAI in partnership with our community. Elders & Youth provides a special opportunity to live and love who we are as Alaska Native peoples, build strong relationships with one another, identify and advance solutions for the challenges and opportunities facing our communities, explore our creative worlds, and contribute to the greater community through the transference of knowledge between our generations. Connecting our Elders and youth is imperative to knowing and loving who we are and where we come from and remembering how to work in good relationship together. Elders, youth, culture bearers, and community leaders experience the strength of our Ancestral knowledge and imperatives and learn ways to use this knowledge to improve our lives today.

Sponsorship options

Sponsorship Opportunities for the Elders & Youth Conference include various levels: Ancestor ($25,000), Elder ($15,000), Leader ($10,000), Mentor ($5,000), Teacher ($2,500), and Youth (up to $2,499). Exclusive sponsorship opportunities are also available, such as Teen Dance Sponsor ($7,500) and Refreshments Sponsor ($7,500). Benefits vary by level and may include ads in conference programs and magazines, exhibitor tables, recognition on banners and stages, and tickets to related events.
